About Rabeprazole Domperidone Capsules

Rabeprazole Domperidone Capsules are formulated as combination of dopamine D2 receptor antagonist & proton pump inhibitor. They are prescribed for treatment of peptic ulcer & gastroesophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome as well. These capsules have antiemetic & gastroprokinetic activities thus increase movement of upper digestive tract. They work by inhibiting final step of gastric acid production by binding or H+/K+ ATPase pump. Rabeprazole Domperidone Capsules get metabolized in liver with help of CYP2C19 & CYP3A4 with excellent protein binding ability of about 96.3% and bioavailability of 52%. They show elimination half life of about 1 hour and excreted from kidney in form of metabolites.
